Unicase advises Asian Development Bank on PBM road contracts

A Unicase team advised ADB, the Government of Kazakhstan, JSC KazAvtoZhol on introducing performance based road maintenance in the country and on ADB’s financing particulars in relation to a selected network of Republican roads.

The Infrastructure team led by managing partner Saniya Perzadayeva are in the thick of introducing OPRC contracts in Kazakhstan. The key objective of introducing PBM in Kazakhstan is to focus on integrated management of the roads rather than simply road construction. The proposed project will carry out mid-term repairs and performance based road maintenance of about 2000 km of the Republican road network (project road assets) in Kostanay oblast of Kazakhstan.
